Living Life with Gusto and Gratitude

“Not until every family’s life is better.” That was the suggestion a good friend offered to me as the answer to the question, “When should I stop working on my new start-up, Clariata?” Her answer was life-changing for me. Kari got to the heart of what matters most to me, namely, my passion for helping people improve their lives. I’ll never give up my dream of making people’s lives better.

In 2007, Randy Pausch gave his “last lecture” at Carnegie Mellon University about living life to its fullest. Pausch would soon die from pancreatic cancer and wanted to share with his audience what he wished for them. He told them he wanted them to pursue their dreams with vigor and allow that energy to drive them forward as they lived their lives with gusto and gratitude.

Wow! Live life with gusto and gratitude. What a way to live!

He concluded his speech by encouraging his listeners to know and assist others with their goals. “As you get older,” he noted, “you may find that enabling the dreams of others is even more fun.”

Seventeen years ago, people declared me crazy for leaving a lucrative career as a financial advisor to work with families who understood there’s ‘more’ to life than the accumulation of money. As Randy Pausch advocated, I wanted to help people define and pursue their dreams (their ‘more’) with gusto and gratitude.

This first round of crazy resulted in the creation of the Success Mapping Process™ at my very successful consulting practice, Coppertree. I was able to help many families define and pursue their dreams with gusto and gratitude.

Now, everyone’s calling me crazy again…

So, I must be onto something good.

I’m getting ready to fully launch my second ‘crazy’ effort with hopes of it achieving even greater levels of success.

And I’m looking for a few fellow crazy people to join my crusade.

If interacting with your wealth management clients has become a bit boring – a bit blah – or if you’re struggling to make the kind of deep and meaningful connections you need to help them achieve their dreams and grow your business, my type of crazy might be just what you need. That’s what Clariata is all about.

Clariata is the world’s first digital planning and implementation platform that deeply connects you with your clients in ways that change lives and improve outcomes.

If you’re looking for a more exciting path forward with your clients, Clariata gives you everything you need to build engagement, excitement, and excellence now and well into the future.

I’d love to share a demo with you so you can see for yourself if this kind of crazy will work for you.
