John Moves from Estranged To Engaged

John started a real estate development business when he was 33. He spent the next 30 years taking risks and making tough decisions to grow his business. 

 

By all measures, he succeeded – growing a large and profitable enterprise over several decades. 

 

Now in his late 60's, John was ready to invite his three children to take over the business. 

 

None of them wanted anything to do with his business. 

 

None of them wanted anything to do with him either. 

 

 

John Made A Common Mistake

 

John was shocked and devastated to discover his kids didn't want anything to do with him or the family business. After all, he did this for them. To secure their future. 

 

Sadly, John spent his entire career "raising" his fourth child, his business. He neglected his children as he focused on growing his business. 

 

Unfortunately, he failed to tell his children what his dream was for them. He wanted his business to become their business and for them to be set for life as a result of what he created.

Next, we worked with John and his family using the tools and methods in the Dream module to define what success looks like for them, individually and collectively. 

 

Finally, we worked with John and his family to use the Clariata tools and methods to develop new communication and leadership skills that activate their goals while promoting strength and alignment that drives his family forward as a unified front.

 

Engaging with the Clariata process helped John move from estranged to engaged by helping him and his family unify around a meaningful purpose, not a family asset. 

 

Now, John has a deeper understanding of the relationships that matter and the actions he must take to transition to the next phase of his life. His family now has a deeper understanding of everything done for them, the inspirations behind the actions, and a strategy that virtually guarantees their success.
